Puvvy is a small, athletic female directly imported from Russia. I discovered her on Facebook, offered for sale by her breeder when she was about a year old. Interestingly, her breeder had initially intended to keep her, but decided to breed (and whelp) her before sending her over. After my experience with Lavigne's elbow dysplasia diagnosis, I made it a personal requirement that all dogs older than 6-7 months undergo preliminary x-rays before I consider purchasing them. Puvvy was no exception. Her breeder initially stated that x-rays would not be officially documented/scored before 18 months of age. I agreed, asking them to notify me if she was still available, and passed her x-rays at that time. Eventually, she was still available and successfully passed her x-rays. Puvvy also holds numerous championship titles from Russia. She exhibits a medium-high food drive, high prey drive, and no toy drive. My primary intention in acquiring Puvvy was for service work, with shows and breeding as secondary considerations. Puvvy is a neutral and friendly girl, open to anyone she believes might offer food. She is also a service dog in training for mobility assistance.
